I usually don’t write reviews but I got an email from Nicole with Fair House House asking if I would provide a review of my experience and how they bought my house last year.
I was hesitant because I’m a business professional and a very private person but I decided to share my experience because it may help someone else going through something similar. So here it is…
I was going through a divorce and facing foreclosure at the same time. I had received a few letters and postcards from Fair House Offer but disregarded them for months. But when I was really up against the clock and the foreclosure auction was a three weeks away I called their office and spoke with Ashley. He patiently listened to my situation and arranged for Nicole to come look at my house. Ashley assured me they would do their best to help and once I met Nicole at my property she was very pleasant and knowledgable, which put me at ease. She took notes and pictures of my house and the next day I received an offer from her. I heard of horror stories about drastically low ball offers from investors but I was very pleased with their offer.
Once I accepted their offer they were able to get everything done at the lawyers office very quickly because I was up against the clock and foreclosure sale. My partner (now ex) realized this was the best option for us as individuals and allowed us to move forward with our lives without having a foreclosure on our credit report.
Now that a year or more has passed, I look back on my experience with Fair House Offer as a blessing and it allowed me to start fresh and they provided help when things were seemingly falling apart.
I realize now that everyone experiences tough times but you have to take advantage of opportunities readily available to you. I was looking for a way out of a trying situation but the answer was right in front of my face with the letters and postcards they had sent.
